Sample Answer

I’d like to talk about Cam Ranh, my hometown in central Vietnam. It’s a coastal city in Khanh Hoa province, just south of the famous resort city Nha Trang. Cam Ranh is quite small compared to other cities, but it has a beautiful bay that is very deep and calm, making it ideal for ships and boats.

The climate is warm all year round, and we have long stretches of sand beaches where locals and a few tourists swim and sunbathe. Many people in Cam Ranh work in fishing, farming, or in the tourism sector, such as resorts and hotels. In recent years, the airport was modernized, which created more jobs and brought more visitors.

What I like most is the relaxed lifestyle and the availability of fresh seafood every day. However, I don’t like that public transport is limited, so if you don’t have your own vehicle, it can be hard to go around. Despite that, I feel proud of my hometown because it combines natural beauty with a friendly community. Whenever I go back home, I always feel calm and connected to my roots.
